Leslie Tay

Leslie Tay, född Leslie Edjila K.Tay 13 maj 1989 i Malmö, är en svensk musikproducent, låtskrivare och sångare. Tay är uppväxt i Seved i stadsdelen södra Sofielund i Malmö, något han också skildrat i sin musik. Rektorn såg Tays talang och inspirerade honom till att satsa på musiken. Sedan dess har han varit med i två dokumentärfilmer.

Leslie brinner

Leslie Tay står inför sitt livs viktigaste projekt: att släppa sitt efterlängtade debutalbum. Han växte upp på Sofielund i Malmö och lärde sig tidigt att vara hård och inte visa känslor, men som vuxen är tillgången till känslor något han behöver i sitt skapande. Med ett material som spänner över 15 år följer vi Leslie på väg mot genombrottet som artist och målet att bli älskad för sin musik. En film av Stefan Berg om drömmar och motgångar, vilja och tålamod, och skapandets frigörande kraft. Medverkar gör bland andra Silvana Imam och Cherrie.
